Transform A Person Africa (TAPA) was founded in the year 2007 as a non profit making charitable organization based in Kibera slums Nairobi, Kenya. We seek to address the plight of Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVCs), school drops and disadvantaged women especially those living with HIV/AIDS. This category of people find themselves in the unfortunate situation of lacking life’s basic necessities for survival.
TAPA is managed by Seven Board of Trustees that provides overall oversight of the project. The Program Director is the Secretary to the Board and also provides oversight of day to day project operations. He is supported by a team of technical staff who meet on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to review progress made in achieving their objectives.
